Brian has been doodling since grade school. He continued his art education as a “roads” scholar commuting to NIU where he graduated with a BFA in Photo-Realistic Illustration. Using his diploma as sketch paper he began to teach himself Cartooning.
In his 20 year career he has created greeting cards and characters for books and company logos, drawn editorials, gag cartoons, and spot illustrations for magazines using both traditional and digital art skills.
A few years ago he began experimenting with animation. He creates character designs, storyboards and animatics to develop short videos. Brian has created animations for classroom use to explain science concepts, book trailers and entertainment.
